Women Empowerment Project

A training project in Addis Ababa aims to empower vulnerable Eritrean refugee women by providing vocational skills in makeup artistry and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). This two-month initiative seeks to address both economic and psychological challenges faced by participants, equipping 20 women with makeup techniques, including everyday, bridal, and party styles, while fostering resilience through psychosocial interventions.

Delivered by professional trainers, the program also includes startup capital to help participants achieve financial independence. By integrating skill-building with mental health support, the project seeks to promote self-reliance, resilience, and sustainable livelihoods for Eritrean refugee women.

The total project budget is 208,000 Ethiopian Birr Fully Funded by Ghandhi Charity
